Humble
beginnings.
My first website.
Inspired by another first - my personal challenge to create and complete
the Haystack Rock Project. An exercise in self-discipline, completing
an atmospheric, or ‘plein air’ oil painting everyday
during the year 2002. Each one from the same location, on the beach
near Haystack Rock, Cannon Beach, Oregon.
The Oregon Coast has a reputation for its ever-changing weather patterns.
These changes are evident in this unique
collection, as some of the images have sand embedded into the oil
paint from the forces of nature during violent weather conditions.
