Full moon and a cloudy night. I had to haul my gear to the beach and wait for the right time to get a sighting on the moon being clear of the clouds to freeze frame this scene in my mind. Using a touch of violet to ultramarine blue and indigo blue plus black color harmonized the darkness of this scene into a stark image of Haystack Rock at three p.m.
