Merry Christmas! We sing Silent Night around the Christmas Tree, but in the Bible Story the events around the birth of Jesus were not silent or meloncholy. It was a story fully charged with great drama as well as Holiness and inspiration. On this Christmas Day in year 2002, this is how the weather and atmosphere looked as I painted Haystack Rock. Violent, storm, windy, raining, cold and everything rocking.
